SPIRITUAL AMNESIA: BACKSLIDDEN-DOUBLE MINDED- AND UNSTABLE
In this manuscript, we use the medical term Amnesia to describe an affliction whereas a person forgets who they are, to creatively define a type of spiritual affliction; where we call and express it as Spiritual Amnesia, in reference to an unnatural occurrence of amnesia (forgetfulness). Reason being, is to analogously diagnose from a medical perspective, what can occur in the spiritual realm whenever those who claim to be Christians become spiritually unable to remember who they are in the Lord, because we have backslidden and is now no longer living for the Lord. So, we will use memory loss in the natural to describe spiritual memory loss, comparing it to the divine aspect of our walk with the Lord. Consequently, in this manuscript, we attempt to view this issue from a kind of spiritual therapeutic (healing and deliverance) outlook to help those who are called witnesses of the faith to realize how the Word of God can help them recover and be restored back to their faith, particularly for those who are suffering from spiritual memory loss.
IMMERSED IN GOD: A DOCTRINAL THEOLOGICAL STUDY ON BAPTISM
The title of this book is named as such because we have taken on the challenge of doing a comprehensive study on the doctrinal teaching of baptism from a theological perspective to bring some clarity to the topic as it pertains to salvation. In fact, this manuscript is written with the hope of giving a spiritual understanding of “WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED,” according to Act 2:36/16:30 and how Baptism in water and in the spirit is part of the answer to this spiritual equation...SO WITHIN THIS TEXT, WE ASK THE QUESTION AND PROVIDE THE ANSWERS TO -WHAT IS BAPTISM? Relative to salvation……..hence in this manuscript – the topic (Baptism), we will explore from the Ancient Sacred Text, so that in these modern times, it’s meaning and purpose would not be lost and neither misunderstood.
"It's Not How You Start But How You Finish"
This manuscript is written about the life and time of Velma Lee McIntyre, the first born child of Henry and Sadie McIntyre who were sharecroppers while living in Mississippi during the midst of the Great Depression. Velma was born January 7th 1945 during some of the most disheartening times in America, particularly for African Americans. Thus, being a female, she had to navigate her way through a society whereas she was disrespected for two unfair reasons; she was black or African American and she was a female. In addition to being born in poverty and having only a sixth grade education, this would add to her struggles; therefore making her scramble to exist and to have a vision for her life all the more challenging. She, trying to find herself wouldn’t be easy because of the many odds that were stacked against her from the inception of her life on earth.
